WHY VOLUNTEER?

Volunteering is a crucial part of what we do to help create impact for our youth and community.  When you volunteer you have an opportunity to create change and foster financial education.  Students and participants can benefit from your life stories and gain valuable insight when you share your financial successes and mistakes.  People volunteer for a variety of reasons such as:

• An opportunity to serve
• Financial literacy that resonates with them
• Volunteers can benefit from being with like-minded individuals
• Creating community impact and support
• Learning more about financial education themselves

TEACH YOUTH OR ADULTS

You don't need a teacher degree or certificate to administer our financial programs.  We engage everyday individuals that are both retired and still working.  We guide them through our teaching processes whether that is classroom style or power point zoom classes.  If you enjoy teaching or want to learn how to teach, we will support you in your quest for serving our communities.

SUPPORT VOLUNTEER

A Support Volunteer is the backbone of everything else we do.  They may help out at events, assist a teacher in the classroom or perform behind the scene administrative tasks.  These valuable individuals are a huge assest to Financial Literacy First as they are willing to do a variety of tasks that helps us successfully administer classes, sponsor events, or help with social media and community engagement.
